Over the course of 6-8 weeks you’ll commit to diving in deep on your ideal customer, branding, and messaging. I’ll support you each step of the way with non-stop email access, strategy sessions, and concrete recommendations specific to your business and audience.



Idea Immersion: The very first thing I’ll do is immerse myself in your brand—from your website to your social media. I’ll familiarize myself with feedback you’ve already received from clients and challenges that you’re facing, so that we can jump right in to a productive working session together.


Brand Story Session: We’ll spend half a day together, in-person or over Skype, breaking down your brand’s story, who your ideal client is, and the process you go through working with them. Over the course of just a few hours we’ll set the framework for your brand’s messaging and draft key questions for market research.


Competitor Analysis: I’ll investigate your closest competition—how they’re positioning themselves, how they’re marketing, and what you’re doing differently—so that your copy and consultant candidly address all of the options that are available to your target market and highlight the results that they can get only by working with you.


Client Interviews: I’ll have structured (but not boring!) conversations 5-7 with some of your favorite clients, investigating what they were facing before they hired you, why they decided to work with you, and how their life or business is different now.

I’ll record the exact words they use to describe their needs and purchasing behavior, helping you to narrow in on their needs and feel confident and prepared to proactively address these in your marketing and consults.



Brand Guide: Capturing all of the insights from the brand story session, competitor analysis, and client interviews, this guide will become your brand bible.

You’ll be able to easily access the recommended words, phrases, and content areas you should use in your marketing materials. You’ll be able to easily pass it off to any consultant you hire—from a graphic designer to a social media manager—helping them understand your business, brand, and target market.



Content Development: Creating effective copy is about more than knowing your copy sells; it’s knowing that your copy sells to the right people.

I’ll refine your positioning statement and rewrite up to three pages of website copy that speaks to the unique value your audience is looking for. I’ll also coach you through the process so that you’re equipped to use the same messaging tactics in the future, to keep attracting clients far past our time together.


Personalized Client Survey: Learning about your clients and their needs is a process you’ll need to continue throughout the life of your business.

I’ll create a customized client feedback survey for you to use at the end of a client engagement that will provide you with intel on why your clients are hiring you, hesitations they had before hiring you, what difference your service made in their life or business, and what they would hire you for again in the future.

This information will provide you with the direction you need to tweak your offers, increase your prices, and introduce new services.
